Editor's review
This is a tool that helps extract individual files from an archive of many formats.
ExtractWizard is a user-friendly extract wizard utility that supports more than 55 archive types. Besides the usual ZIP format, it is able to extract contents from archives of formats including Sfx, SfxExe, 7z, Ace, Arc, ArcExe, Arj, ArjExe, Bh, BhExe, Bz, Bz2, Bzip2, Cab, Cpio, Deb, Dmg, Enc, Gz, Gzip, Ha, Hfs, Iso, Jar, Lha, LhaExe, Lzh, LzhExe, Lzma, Mim, MsGz, Pak, PakExe, Pk3, Pk_, Rar, RarExe, Rpm, Split, Swm, Tar, Taz, Tbz, Tbz2, Tgz, Tpz, Uu, Uue, War, Wim, Xar, Xxe, Z, Zip, ZipExe, ZipMV, Zoo and ZooExe. Rather than trying to hunt down a specific tool to de-archive any of these formats, this is one Swiss army knife you could use on the archives. The range of formats covered includes practically most of the archive formats known. Unless it is really rare, this one tool can help you deal with any archive in your day to day work.
With ExtractWizard you can simply extract any archive just by clicking through the wizard. The very simple to use and wizard driven interface requires just a few clicks to take you to the extraction stage. The interface is multilingual and you can choose the language you want to use, thus making it even simpler to use to a wider audience. Using of environment variables, saving the latest values for future use and using preset values created in some archive formats are features that make it very useful.
